Tri-State Awnings needed more than isolated tools: it needed one digital backbone for the way the company sells, engineers, manufactures and installs its products. I helped build the web ERP and the mobile operating layer that connect those workflows, replacing fragmented processes with shared job data, production instructions and operational visibility.
The core web platform is a Next.js and TypeScript application backed by REST services, with domain adapters, React Query, Zustand/Redux state and authenticated operational workflows. The React Native app extends the same operational model into the field. The AI initiative adds a role-agnostic Python, Flask and Celery service around Anthropic tool calls; it invokes the existing TypeScript calculation engine as a deterministic tool and writes proposals into a human-reviewed path rather than bypassing production controls.
This case study describes a professional platform without exposing customer data, credentials or proprietary implementation details. The AI layer is documented as an active architecture and development initiative inside a much broader production operations system.
